The 46 ers
Who are the 46ers?
We are a group of friends from childhood, born in 1946. We grew up in the same neighborhood where our parents became Aunts and Uncles or Moms and Dads. Most went to elementary thru high school together. I was the outsider attending private schools thru high school. We each have fond and funny memories about each other thoughout the years.
To have friends like this is a Gift from GOD.

As young adults, we went our separate ways after high school. The guy kept in touch as they did in school. If you saw 1 you saw all.
The Group Today Marriages produced 16 children and some attended the same schools together. Now they are friends and some the best of friends. There were dry spells over the years but it never dampered our chance meetings. It was as if we talked the day before instead a year ago.
The 46'ers consist of an Operating Room nurse, a Teacher, 2 Postal Workers, 3 Bank/Credit officers and a Computer Analyst.
At the age of 49 we wanted to celebrate our friendships and childhood. We wanted to do something for our 50th birthdays. It took a year and monthly meetings to plan this gala event. A 50th Birthday Bash with 250+ of our childhood friends, parents and parents from the neighborhood. You see it was hard not to invite parents of friends because they ALL raised us and our children. We wanted to show them that we did not forget and to look at us now. All the guest had to do was show up, we wined, dined and danced until sunrise. THEY are still talking about our Birthday Bash.
That was 6 years ago and it was only the beginning. Since then we've rented a Villa at St. Lucia and cruised the Caribbean.
Our 56th Birthday Bash will be celebrated on a cruise ship this November 2002.
We pray that GOD continues to bless us and give us many more years of memories, family and friends.
