SUAKIM COURT’S FIRST

MARDI GRAS EVENT

A COMPLETE SUCCESS

The 1999 Dream Team of Suakim Court #54 hosted their first annual Mardi Gras Dance on Saturday, February 20, 1999 at the Brandywine Terrace. The program was MC by our own Dt. Marilyn Monk, PC. The grand march was led by Dr. & Mrs. Miller of New Orleans.

The event played out with all kinds of dazzling costumes. Illustrious Commandress, Dt. Sheila Marlowe enchanted the crowd in her white. Do you know who that mask man is next to her? If so, go to the Suakim Court web site and state your guess…

This was truly an event you should not have missed but if you did, plan to be there next year.

Suakim Brings Easter To The Children

On Thursday, April 1, 1999, Daughters of Suakim Court #54 and Nobles of Suakim Temple #60 brought joy to the children at the Terry Children’s Psychiatric Center. The children received painter caps and were read stories that evening.

It was truly a rewarding experience. Thanks to everyone who participated in this event.
